The menu at Chez Les Petites is a true reflection of the region’s rich culinary heritage. Known for its fresh, locally-sourced ingredients, the restaurant showcases an impressive variety of French cuisine with a particular emphasis on seafood. The chef takes great care in ensuring that every dish is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, which is evident in the bold, authentic flavors. If you’re in the mood for a comforting meal, the beef bourguignon is an absolute must-try, slow-cooked to perfection and served with a side of creamy mashed potatoes. • Great quality of dishes, however, it started raining while we were dining and had to switch to inside as the outside area was not fully covered

  • So fortunate we chose this restaurant from those along the quayside. I had the best oysters I have ever tasted and our whole meal - the fish choice inclusive menu - was really very good indeed and included a glass of wine each. Excellent value at around €29 each (May 2025) We had booked for the following evening when we passed by the day before- they start serving food from around 19h15. It is a very popular place to eat and deservedly gets very busy so - if you haven't booked and many had, even this early in the season - get there early! Staff were efficient, helpful and suitably attentive. Definitely a place to return to again....and again.

  • Came here for an evening meal on recommendation, so reserved for 7pm when it started evening meal. Location is lovely - on the quay, but it is busy with walkers etc. We arrived early and they were still setting up so we had to wait until around 7.10pm to get any service. We had oysters and king prawns for starters and then main courses of mussels and cod with a bottle of local rose wine. The Oysters were especially wonderful, with the rest being of great quality too. The total cost was of the order of €70 which is not bad value either, so fully recommend

  • Picked out this place from the line of restaurants along the port at St Denis as it was obviously busy and also had a handwritten board of daily specials up. We had oysters, plate of prawns, the daily fish special, (this was €26 but the fish was cooked superbly and a generous portion), and a delicious steak hache garnished with Italian coppa. Very fair prices for the quality and friendly service. The place had a band on after meal service, and although we did not stay for this, the number of locals gathering indicated a good night was to come - everything a restaurant / bar should be!
